I have made so many references to the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in previous posts that I decided it is high time to do a full review for once and for all.
Product: The MAC Pro Longwear Concealer is a medium to full coverage liquid concealer.
Packaging: This is the only serious gripe I have with the product! It has a glass bottle with a pump dispenser which I dispise. I prefer a doe foot applicator as the pump dispenses way too much product. It is nearly impossible to squeeze out the right amount. I overcame this issue by dispensing the product into a old (clean) Estée Lauder concealer tube that has a doe foot applicator and it is going a lot better now.
Coverage: Eventhough it is marketed as a medium to full coverage concealer, I feel the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer leans more towards full coverage. I promise you will be impressed by the coverage. It works well for dark undereye circles as well as blemishes and pigmentation.
Wear: I find the coverage of the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer truly impressive and you can confidently wear it the whole day. You need to set this product with powder when used as an undereye concealer otherwise it creases. I think this formula can potentially be a problem for readers that suffers with dryness or dehydration under the eyes. For me personally it works very well and I think it is the concealer I have repurchased most often.
Shade Range: I have a mostly ‘hate’ relationship with MAC’s shades as they are frequently too yellow undertoned or oxidize on my skin. The NC20 in the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer is spot-on though. There are 16 shades in total to choose from.
Will I buy this product again? Yes, I have repurchased it many times before. It is without any doubt the concealer that I use most often.
